Create a Community - with a variety of housing options geared to the 50+ crowd to allow them to still live totally independently but in a likeminded community

• Patio townhomes - designed for single level living - master suite and guest bedroom - possible optional loft and or basement
  
• Low-rise apartments - providing 1 and two bedroom units
  
• Assisted living apartments - these units will provide some services - laundry service - house cleaning - meals (a variety of options) they will not provide medical support - it will be important for this project to partner with a next level of care that does include the medical care (still under consideration)
  
• Maintenance free - landscape maintenance - snow removal and check-in service when you are away will be offered in this development
  

On-Site Recreation - trails designed into the project that would connect with area trails (walking, jogging,) - fitness facilities - lawn games and activities - there is exercise equipment designed for 50+ group - options are still be considered

Social / Activity Centre - the plan is to work with the Church and possibly add some additional facilities to provide areas for group activities

• Social Centre - games - lounge area - crafts - parties - events - special programming - work shop - partnering with the church on these activities
  
• Fitness Centre - small on-site fitness centre / area
  

Ownership / Rental Units - it is expected that this project will offer the opportunity for individuals to purchase the townhome units - the plan will also offer the opportunity for investors to purchase units to lease out

This is a very exciting project for the Village of Chipman and is expected to draw residents back to the community - from the region as well as from the immediate community.
